Hello! My name is Ryan, and I am a software developer who lives in beautiful Seattle, WA. When not programming, I try and spend as much time outside, and I enjoy biking and hiking. I play soccer religiously.

I recently got married to my girlfriend of 7 years, Darcy.

What is with that name?

I know that the name 'Walking Soma' is rather odd, but it does have a point. My dog's name is Soma, and he is a Lab/Shepherd/Bloodhound mix.

I spend a good amount of my time chasing after the little monster (he is around 80 lbs now) and find that some of my best ideas come to me when we are out walking. So, I thought that it would be a unique name that may not mean anything to anyone else but is definitely meaningful to me.
