I, Rechard Charon Rowell was born on January 20, 1979. For many years I’ve been intrigued by many different forms of poetry. Mostly the art form known as “Slam”. As you begin to feel a part of me through my work, just reflect on who it interacts with your everyday life. My goal, I hope, is to take you on a journey of struggle, hardships, pain, and most of all, happiness.. Poetry is who I am. It’s what I do. It’s what I swear by. These talents wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for my influences: God, and the late Annie Lois Knight ( my grandmother). I attend Fredonia State University. I am a English Major (isn’t it ironic..... don’t you think?) And I am a brother of the Delta Chi International Fraternity (big- ups to the Defazio family tree... Hollaaa!) I plan to write a book of poems someday. My favorite poems, books, as well as influences, are anything my Langston Hughes and Shel Silverstein (author of “ Where The Sidewalk Ends”) Thank you for visiting my website and most of all.... Thanks for your support. Enjoy! Peace and Chickengrease!
