I Took Your Advice



Thank you for all of your lovely comments. This pligg thing rocks! I never gotten fifteen comments in a month, much less in a day.

I'm glad you all liked the sock. I took your advice and kept working on it and finished the first sock today.

Yarn: Cherry Tree Hill Supersock in Water from Yarns in the Farms

I knit this sock before in Cabin Cove Merino in the Orchids colorway. I got the same stitch gauge with both yarns but a much smaller row gauge in the Cherry Tree Hill so I ended up doing more repeats of the lace pattern. I like knitting with the Cabin Cove yarn better, it's a little softer and the twist isn't as tight--and then there's that bigger row gauge.
