Surprises From the Garden



I love my garden.







The cats are happy.



Actually, Simon is ignoring me but really, he's happy.

The best thing is that I found my yarn! So now I can finish this.



Geordie Stripe Yoke Jacket from Natural Baby Knits in Blue Sky Alpaca Cotton. I made this big because the other sweater I made from this book with this yarn came out so small and this is coming out huge. Still, he'll grow into it. I added the stripes to the sleeves. I should be able to finish this tonight and then I have an excuse to find my new local yarn store to buy buttons.

Then, I think the baby things are finished and I can work on Hogwarts socks and Sockapalooza 4 socks. I'm going to make the violet socks again for Sockapalooza 4 but I haven't picked yarn yet. My sock pal was pretty open ended about color choice. Hogwarts socks are still a mystery as I'm looking for good Ravenclaw colored yarn.
