Stacie & Andrew - Love in the Rain - March 31, 2007

I always get asked, "What happens if it rains?" To which I think I am going to start saying, "Then you will be as lucky as Stacie and Andrew were on their wedding day."

Seriously, some people act like rain ins the end of the world -- when, in fact, rain can create the opportunity for some amazing photos that you just can't get on sunny day. Moody, sexy, utterly romantic. And so, God bless Mother Nature, Stacie and Andrew got that all!

Stacie was one of the happiest brides I have ever seen. And she looked just beautiful.

They saw each other for the first time on the stairs at the hotel...

I love this bridal portrait of Stacie looking out in the rain...

Andrew and Stacie weren't afraid to get their feet a little wet and go outside for some photos. This one reminds me of some Parisian street scene...

This portrait was taken under the eves of the hotel as rain cascaded down. I stood out in the rain while my assistant held an umbrella, so we were able to use all the gorgeous natural light.

Also under the eves, while the wind kicked up her veil. I love how gorgeous she looks!

Stacie and her matrons of honor...

Getting on the trolley to the ceremony...

I also got to work with Katie Hennebry for the first time and let me tell you, it is *such* a pleasure to work with people who can be all at once organized and calm and delightful.

Cafe Brauer looked amazing and the incredible flowers were courtesy of Stems.

Andrew & Stacie, during their Ketubah signing ceremony...

Stacie admiring her newly signed Ketubah...

I love this shot of the Stacie's bridesmaid waiting for the ceremony to start.

Stacie's mother was just so wonderful. She walked Stacie down the aisle and you could just see at every turn how much her daughter (and new son-in-law!) mean to her.

A few of my favorites from the ceremony...

Finally, onto the reception...
