Vanessa & Justin - The Congress Hotel - October 28, 2006


This one of those weddings where all the stars aligned perfectly: I had a beautiful couple with explosive chemistry, amazing fall light and tons of time to make incredible images.

It was so hard to pick my favorites, but here they are:

Coming from a family of four sisters, I have a special love of sister shots...







Vanessa was simply radiant...



It is a very good thing when you get a stylin' ride down the aisle...





I loved how all of the sponsors came up and encircled Vanessa and Justin as they said their vows...



I am so in love with this shot...



We spent a ton of time playing at points all around Chicago. Vanessa and Justin are SO great together and so in love -- it was impossible NOT to get fantastic shots!





















In the Windy City, we get the real deal -- none of that fake "veil blowing" stuff here!









I also loved hanging out with their wedding party who were incredibly "spirited" ;-)





The ballroom at the Congress Hotel is really amazing...





Vanessa was a dancer and so their first dance was amazing!





I love this group hug with Justin, Vanessa and Justin's mom...



After dinner, Justin gave a lovely toast to Vanessa and then surprised her and everyone by singing a song that he *wrote* for her.

I had such a blast with you guys! You have an amazing love and a connection unlike any I have seen. Thank you for sharing that with me and my love and best wishes to you as you begin the rest of your lives together!
