There is an easy flight from Anchorage to Petropavlovsk, it took about four hours.
Magadan Air has a flight each Friday that leaves at 6:00 am. About $1400 US round trip. I wanted to go the Khabarovsk, however, there were no direct flights, so, since I had to stop in Petropavlovsk I decide to stay awhile. I am glad I did.
