Linda Deutser, Sharon Ruston and I attended the ALA Department Fall Conference in Oklahoma City on 9/15/07, and I’ve brought back our Unit workplans for 2007-2008. WE HAVE LOTS TO DO!
KUDOS to Sharon Ruston and Maxine Mackey for their Pledge of Allegiance and flag distribution program at McKinley Elementary School on 9/17/07 as part of the school’s Constitution Day Assembly. WELL DONE FOR UNIT 1!

Please patronize our Chili Supper and Silent Auction on 10/12/07 (families welcome) and don’t miss our informative Membership Tea on 10/28/07 from 1-3 p.m.
Watch for our “Trick or Treat for the Troops” collection boxes at the Post Home during October and help us continue our 7/13/07 Troop Benefit efforts throughout the year.
