M7 Strut Tower Reinforcement Plates
Minis are notorious for "mushrooming" the front strut towers. MINI's response to this is that there is no problem. Fortunately, M7 Tuning recognizes the problem and has a solution. These plates reinforce the upper strut mount surface.

| This is the normal side. See how flat the top of the strut tower is? | Here, you can see the mushrooming or doming on my right strut tower. To get it flat again, I used a small hand-held sledge hammer and a block of wood. | |

| The M7 Strut Tower Reinforcement Plates install very easy. Simply remove the three nuts that hold the strut to the strut tower. | Slide the plate over the studs and reinstall the nuts. I used loctite to hold the nuts in place. |
