The five of us in the Hyatt lobby. It looks like that giraffe is taking a liking to Tyler's head.

From left to right, we are Tyler, Ann, me, Mark, and Lee.

Linda Francisco, my fabulous program rep from 2000, greets us as we prepare to load the shuttle bus to the starting line.
The rain starts to come down as we wait to start.
We're smiling because it stopped raining.
Fireworks preceeded the 5:00 starting gun. If you look real close you can see us down there.

The guy up there was a real jerk, almost berating us for taking so long to go the first mile. Apparently he didn't realize that it takes a little bit of time for 19,499 people to cross the starting line. It took us over 12 minutes.
