My Proteges
(Not my Mazda Protege; I traded that in for my Jetta.) These are people who I inspired, coerced, or otherwise convinced to participate in the AIDS Marathon program this year. I tried to get a commission a la Amway but no dice.
Mark Corsi
Mark is a good friend and ended up in my Griffith Park Saturday pace group.
Marathon Greg and his trusty sidekick Marathon Julie
Greg and Julie are doing the program in Washington, DC. Greg pledged last year and followed my progress and that inspired him to sign up this year, taking Julie along with him. The moral of this story is that if you pledge you might want to take it to the next level. Consider yourself warned!
Fellow Marathoners
RunnerGirls.com
This year it's a singular Runner Girl, Jen. Jen and her sister Tiffany ran the Chicago Marathon with me last year. This year Jen will be participating in programs to raise funds for diabetes and AIDS, running the Chicago Marathon on October 7 and the Honolulu Marathon on December 9. Tiffany is finishing up her degree at UCLA so she won't be running this year though we do expect to see her out as a water volunteer every Saturday morning. And if we don't, let's just say that we know where she lives...
Josslyn Gordon
Josslyn and I went through a lot of ups and downs together during last year's training. After Chicago we ran a couple of 5Ks together.

Jeff Galloway
It's his training program which is used.
