Wish I'd Never
"Sometimes, when the inspiration
strikes, I can get down with the best of them."
I heard it said not so long ago that someone I know
very well "wished s/he just didn't read my blog" or that s/he wished s/he hadn't
just read my blog. You get the idea. I then realized I wished I didn't know
certain details (the most frightening being Michael's "what? you are leaving me
in the cold with a hard on??" upon Janet rejecting him. Then there is the...and
the...and...uh, oh. Buffer
over-run.
My point is, there is a LOT
that people don't want to know and that I wish I didn't know. The story always
seems to get worse when that sort of information comes out. I suppose
ultimately I believe that there is a certain vindication in the truth coming
out...well, from where I sit.
So, I say
all that sitting on the first words ever sent to me by Ron Youngquist since this
all began (save the "shazam" he let out when I last saw his face). Yep, I got a
reply. I can't exactly say I'm glad I got a reply and he is surely keeping up
the pretend world he has in which he never does anything wrong or has nothing to
do with anything messy. But, there it was. I was amazed that he used the word
"sorry" in it, though he did manage to water it down to indicate only regret
that things were not going well for me. Nice choice of words.
Lame.
But, I'm thinking the scarier
stuff is a ways down. The scarier stuff is about demons Ron doesn't know he
unleashed. It is just plain fucked up. It says it
all.
Unless...is Ron right here? Is HE
the guy to trust?
I dunno. Fearless
readers...I'm taking the first ever poll in the life of this blog. What say
you? You wanna have that email posted here? Then you can decide for
yourselves. I mean, nothing beats the source documents.
Feynman says that one must remain
"disinterested" in the experimental outcomes in science. He doesn't mean bored
of course, he means that the results should be presented without spin or desire
to convince anyone. I admit, I'm as far from that as possible...but, if you
read it yourself, well, then the data-pool would be
pure.
