Welcome, believers!
I have had prophetic word for a long time now that movies are actually very key in getting information out...I was just reading an article about the Marines fighting against American cities, and Hollywood has depicted this. The acceptance of UFO phenomenon is wildly encouraged by the movie industry; people will believe because the have 'seen it already'. All of these movies are a conditioning mechanism. As much as I don't like the guy, Satan is a super-genius...an IQ that doesn't compare with humans; if 200 is the max for a human, 10,000 would not surprise me.There is a strong prophetic sense about the movie 'the Net' and the implications for our future. I am watching a TV show right at this moment: Star Trek Deep Space Nine, which is a show that is all about teaching morals, and yet a purely humanist world-view, with atheism and naturalism (incl. of course eviloution) at the core (although I thought it was cute the other day when one of the characters used the phrase [only] "God Knows"; yes, He sure DOES!).
I see the movies of asteroid impact of last summer (two; well one was a comet), again, just preconditioning from Satan to get the world to believe that it was just 'dumb luck' or more accurately a statistical absolute that we will eventually be clobbered by an asteroid that can wipe us out.
Well, I believe that Rev 8 speaks of an asteroid or comet striking the earth, and these movies are purposefully reducing the truth (God's wrath) to eviloutionary happenstance. Again; a movie interfering with God's truth and God's message. When the asteroid's precursors (small meteorites) start striking the earth, starting fires that burn up 1/3 of the trees, the preachers that point out that the bible has predicted this for close to two millennia, will be drowned out by the preaching of the 'new ministers'; the scientific community that has been predicting it for ten years! See...NASA will e able to say 'told you so' WHEN it happens.
It's so disturbing that when it happens, the vast majority of the world will be deceived, they will be say "see, the scientists were right, we should have prepared", or "I saw this in a movie". They won't say "the BIBLE was right", or that God's Word is prophetically being proven AGAIN, they will say that Carl Sagan and the like 'figured it out'.
It's all part of the story referred to in the bible as 'the lie' of Satan that people choose to believe; it started with the serpent in the garden, and the same lie is promoted today in virtually every level of our lives, particularly in the 'scientific community' who think that they have 'figured it all out'. Do NOT be too proud of your accomplishments, and in all things, give the due credit to GOD, not Mankind.
I find the latest failings in the space program just a sign from God...like the tower of Babel all over again, or the idea of Noah's ark being found and than lost. A very very KEY element to the Mars program is to prove evolution is FACT. They will no doubt find more 'proof' that evolution is the true religion. Just as God's hand was in sinking the Titanic, I see God's hand in the mars probes failing; people being haughty and God has to intervene. God also doesn't want "proof" that evolution is false either (which of course is what will be discovered by true science); He wants people to love Him by choice, not because they have no option. Back to the missing ark...there are stories that the Ark was found several times in history, and photographed extensively by the Russians. Well, once again, I believe God intervened in those photos being lost...He wants people to believe His WORD, and not in a symbol, like the Ark. He wants people to believe HIS SON, not in an archeologist, but a carpenter's Son (and architect...of the UNIVERSE.
I believe simply because I heard the gospel story as a child, and opened my heart to listen, and the Holy Spirit came into me, giving me wisdom and teaching me TRUTH. I beg everybody to open their heart and listen, God is wanting to tell everybody the truth about the universe; HIS, OUR universe. He has some powerful things to show us, but he as already TOLD us :) Read his word, realize how literal the prophecy of the book of revelations are. Don't be too surprised when event foretold in God's book are demonstrated in Movies; from EITHER perspective; Just as Satan influences the industry to get out his word, God let's some amazing truths 'slip' into mainstream media; we just need to have our eyes peeled.
Moving into the next millennia, keep in mind that God has a plan, and you are part of that plan, that plan is written, and Jesus tells us that he told us all things beforehand, so prepare yourself; He tells you how in the Word. READ the word; osmosis is not good enough. Show love by obedience to the Word.
