Evolution is Inevitable! (read on to know what I mean)
This writing is in response to a letter-to-the-editor from Racine Journal Times, 9-20-99. The writer gave a wonderful speech that would have made an evolutionist teacher proud; he obviously learned and remembered what they taught in school. The thoughts from that letter show that more true research is needed; especially in regard to true evidence; say in the fossil discord. There are only theories; there are no true 'missing link' fossils, and if eviloution (sic) happens the way they say, there would be countless fossils to be found. Sorry; THIS is science, and it's truth. (This is not any kind of a personal slam against the anybody, just an opposing viewpoint to 'the world').
Evolution is testable, and when tested, it has been proven to be false; Evolution is said to be a theory, but it is taught as FACT; face-it, this is true, and in reality it is likely nothing more than a myth; the 'dream' of one Charles Darwin. Darwin has been quoted of saying 'what did I do' in reference to his own theories, when he himself discovered that they didn't hold water at the end of his life, and realized he misguided so many away from their CREATOR. Only God and Darwin know if malicious intent was involved in the Origin of Species. (This is only rumored.. There is no solid evidence I've seen that Darwin really was sorry about misleading the world with his erroneous theory).
It is a disgusting thing that people deface a Christian icon, the fish, putting feet on in and 'Darwin'. If you did that to a Jewish star of David, you'd be under a hate-crime lawsuit before you could sell one of them.
There is too much DESIGN in the universe to be explained away by chance. To blatantly reject this is to spit in God's eye, and I have to ask anybody who takes that route "WHY"?
There has been a LOT of scientific testing to show that most theories of evolution do not hold water. Example; the infamous geologic column; a mythical stack of layered stone that goes from the oldest (deepest) to the newest (most shallow) rock. Looking deeper (older) you find 'older species', etc. Stratified rock was guessed to have been created over long periods of time a theory that has been solidly proven not to be the case; stratified rock is created in a VIOLENT RUSH, like a massive flood; you can find solid proof of this; do some research on Mt. St. Helens.
Other examples from just Mt. St. Helens are evidence that destroys 'old world' thinking about the creation of coal and of 'multilevel forests' i.e. a forest that lived, died, another grew over it, lived died; made famous in Yellowstone; well that was proven now to be caused by a catastrophe by yes...SCIENCE. As far as 'old, worn mountains', the bible speaks of the mountain ranges being CREATED during the flood, Psalms 104 clearly describes the formation of the ocean abysses and the mountains to withdraw the flood waters.
Take a read of The Y Files There are a lot of SCIENTIFIC papers there that show things like evolution NOT happening in humans: in-fact, also indicating that ALL women come from one female ancestor and ALL men from one Male ancestor. This is SCIENCE and it backs CREATION.
Evolution is a theory, it is a theory that can and will NOT be proven, and it makes no sense, the deeper you dig (bad pun). The famous example 'Darwin' stumbled into proved to be A single kind of bird, capable of having long or short beaks, just as people can have long or short noses; we are NOT evolving at ALL. Likewise, the infamous moths in the U.K.; black and white; not evolution at ALL, just an intelligent design by an intelligent creator! (are chameleon's evolving VERY VERY fast when they adapt to their environment; of course not!. Every single kind of DOG came from ONE pair of dogs. The same mechanism that makes a dachshund have short legs makes for the Japanese to have black hair and no wrinkle under their lower eyelid. This is NOT evolution, it's just confined breeding.
Mutations are proven over and over again to cause weaker beings, and those are REMOVED by natural selection. The hypothesis of mutations creating stronger species has never been proven; won't be either. I don't have a problem with the myth of evolution taught as a theory, but that's not the way it's taught. Our children are brainwashed into believing it HAPPENED that way with NOT a SHRED of true proof, rather than the simple fact it's ONLY a theory that has no proof.
It is too bad if it 'rubs you' the wrong way, but the bible is TRUTH, 100%, and I'm not 'sorry'. You can use SCIENCE because the laws governing science were CREATED by GOD. You can not use science, therefore to disprove HIS WORD. I have no fear that any amount of scientific theory can ever disprove a single word from the bible, I know it can't. I know it seems 'unfair' that I will use the Bible to back me, but it's not really what I'm doing. There have been a lot of theories over the ages that seemed to dispute the bible, but over time, they were either modified to fit within the truth, or proven to be false.
How OLD is the earth? Who cares? There is a lot of evidence that points to an old earth, and a lot that points to a new earth. I have no doubt the genesis story is both accurate and true. Evolution as we are taught in school as FACT can be nothing more than a lie in that context. The FLOOD is also literal and TRUE. My mind is blown by the fact that the majority of the people in the US claim to be Christian and yet close to a majority believes the lie wholeheartedly, and refuses to simply read their OWN BIBLE which they have, neatly keeping dust off some section of a bookshelf.
I AM a scientist by nature; I believe wholeheartedly in science; I do not fear that science can disprove God or anything the Bible says, I also believe in a literal creation, exactly as the bible says it happened. Look up the works of Ivan Panin. He was a genius, atheist, who in trying to disprove the bible, proved with no reasonable doubt to be authored by the 'God' within the bible. In fact, when he presented his life's work (43,000 pages of notes about the Bible) to the Nobel committee with the cover letter, explaining that this was his evidence that 1) there is a God, that 2) He is the God of the Bible and 3) He is the AUTHOR of the bible. The Nobel committee wrote back this precious quote: "We find the evidence overwhelmingly in favor of such a statement".
Here is a great quote from Panin, it is his challenge to the worldly thoughts of the Bible not being the literal word of God. "My friend of the world, whose you are: Either Jesus Christ of the Bible is mistaken or you are. The answer that neither might be is only evading the issue, not settling it. But the ages have decided that Jesus Christ was not mistaken. It is for you to decide whether you shall continue to be."
So, what I have to say and to ask; it what is anybodys PURPOSE in trying to 'prove' evolution, or even to BACK it? It is Godly? Does it bring you or anybody else closer to the truth or God? If you are atheist, than so be it, and that's life, but if you are not than you will really have to reach very very far to try to make sense of backing a system mostly used to disprove a creator God of this universe, this world, and the species contained within it. There is not ONE piece of evidence EVER unearthed that will contradict science and the Bible; they are one in the same.
Some really good examples: people once thought that the earth was circled by the SUN, and thought it was biblically based. They used science to determine the earth circles the sun, but Whoa, wouldn't you know it; that actually made MORE sense from what the bible said. Once upon a time, people thought that rock was built up in layers over millennia, with no reason to believe, just a theory. Well, now people have demonstrated Rock is formed with strata almost instantly, and STILL have no mechanism to explain any possible way to do it slowly. With all that stratified Rock all over the world, jee, lemme think, is there ANY possible way to explain how a catastrophic rush of mud and water could have possibly sloshed around the entire world. Oh yeah, The BIBLE!
People have a way of doing what 'feels right' for THEM and not listening to God's Word. If we listened to His word, He tells us exactly how to get married and STAY that way, how to have and raise children, rather than dispose of them, how to find truth, not BURY it in the 'fossil record', how to be a blessed country, not a cursed one. It boils down to people putting themselves before God. What was that first commandment again?
It's too bad that these thoughts are not 'politically correct', but this country was founded on Christianity, the masses for whatever reason are fighting tooth and nail to change history on this. It's 'OK'; the prophecy within the bible does say this will happen before the end, and nothing can be done about it, hence the title of my article; Evolution is Inevitable; we as humans, MUST find a way AROUND the word of God, or the end-times biblical prophecy will not be fulfilled. Believe the lie if you feel you must; don't come crying to Jesus when he returns if you don't believe; he's been practicing his answer for 2000 years: "Truly, I say to you, I do not know you." (Mt 25:12)
Don't anger God; His judgment is an eternal one.
