Rationale:

In order to introduce the students to the topic of the text, the first exercise will use visual stimuli to elicit information.

Exercise 2 encourages the students to predict what they are about to read, and when the students check their answers they will need to use skimming and scanning skills.

The factual questions (exercise 3) require the students to navigate through the website predicting content from the headings and scanning for specific pieces of information.

The true/false questions (exercise 4) encourage the students to interact with the website, and predict information from heading titles (FAQ headings). When they write their own questions they will have to further interact with the site.

The final exercise encourages the students to interpret information from the website, and produce it in their own words. It also requires them to interpret the questions in the mail and respond appropriately.
