Entities who rent the property rights to Lost and Found for performance can obtain shipments of compact disks and cassettes of Lost and Found on consignment at net (60% of selling price). After paying postage, all proceeds from sales beyond the net price are profit to the performing organization. Example: You order 200 CDs on consignment. During the run of the show, you sell 160 of them. You return the 40 you didn't sell. After shipping costs, it looks like this: Sales: 160 CDs @ $15.00 = $2400.00 Net: 160 CDs @ $9.00 = $1440.00 Shipping costs = $60.00 (estimate) Extra profit for your ensemble: $900.00 |
