The Pumpkin Caper

we did some science with our pumpkins and then made Jack O'Lanterns of them

first we made predictions and then we tested them by collecting data... weighing... measuring circumference... counting lines... recording data... testing whether our pumpkins float or sink... measuring to see if they are wider or taller... then cutting into them... removing the lid... and counting out the seeds... with the scientific investigation done, it's time for some art... the art of turning a pumpkin into a Jack O'Lantern that is.... then we posed with our Jack O'Lanterns for Mr. Catton's camera... and finally we collected the data from all the pumpkins to test our hypotheses and made sure our reports were complete before turning them in...
