| | First you will need to remove the seat and fuel tank. |
| | | Remove the chrome air filter cover and the filter to gain access to the 3 Phillips screws and 10mm bolt. Remove idle speed adjuster and 2 hoses from rear of the air box then pull it off. Note the tab on the top of the airbox and the slot on the frame for it. |
| | The air inlet on top of the rear cylinder. Loosen the clamp and pull the hose off, then remove the 8mm bolts from the reed cover and remove the cover. |
| | | Cover removed, you can see the reed holder exposed here. Remove the reed holder. |
| | Drill out the 2 screws, remove the reed/holder assembly and reinstall. |
| | | Sherm's Cycle Coaster on the left and the Honda air inlet on the right. |
| | Reinsert the reed holder minus the reed and it's retainer and put the Coaster on, reinstall the two 8mm bolts. |
| | | This is the air inlet for the front cylinder, use the same process as on the rear cylinder. |
| | Coaster installed on the front cylinder. |
| | | Another view of the rear cylinder with the Coaster installed, note the missing air hose, which is covered next. |
| | This bracket on top of the frame's backbone holds the vacuum pump that engages the system. Remove the 10mm bolt and pull off the pump. I also removed all the hoses attached to this pump. |
| | | Closeup shot of the pump and attached hoses. There is one vacuum line that comes from the carb that I left on, but I plugged it with a bolt and secured it with a zip tie. |
| | I used a rubber cap to cover the open air hole on the back of the airbox. |
