Testing Whether That Candidate Can Long Endure

Caffeine, hot water, and politics clearly do not mix well for me.

My idle shower musing of the morning: If Howard Dean had been president during the Civil War, would the Gettysburg Address have sounded like this?
We're going to Alabama and Mississippi and Florida!

We're going to Louisiana and Texas!

And then we're going to march on Atlanta and take back the Confederacy!

    HEEEEEEYAAAAARRRRRGH!

With so many musical mixes and remixes of his Iowa speech circulating on the net, we'll soon learn whether any publicity is good publicity. But I have a feeling that Dean is going to look back on that outburst as a defining moment in his candidacy.

His campaign lived and flourished by the internet. Now, I wonder, for a moment's indiscretion, will it die by the same hand?

Thanks to Brykmantra for the link.
