On Saturday we celebrated Mikayla's Third birthday. We had
a great day. It started with another birthday party where
we reunited with many of Yvonne's family. It was espcially
great to see her brother Neil and our nieces Rochelle,
Wiesha, Kristelle and Carissa. We attended the party for
Kristelle's youngest Poppy and enjoyed that immensely. We
even took along a chocolate ice cream cake for Mikayla so
she would not be confused.
In the evening we had another party for Mikayla. Tom and Di
Hallas's daughter joined us for dinner. Her husband John
and children Tallia and Imogen helped us have a joyous
evening. Coby figured we had not seen her since she was 16.
What a great lady she is and it was a thrill to be with her
again.
What a wonderful day we had today! Tony and Ronelle planned
to have a dedication for Mikayla and Jessica. These are the
two grandchildren born while we were in Jerusalem.
I am having a wonderful time recalling special moments in
my contact with the Jewish people. I am writing the 3rd
chapter of my book right now and it's about my visit to the
Western Wall in 1996 and what I learned there. We praise
the Lord constantly for the quality of life He has
provided. Hopefully I can find the words to encourage
others to also check out the blessing to be found in being
enriched by Israel and the Jewish people.
Later this week I will fly to the Sunshine Coast to attend
a school presentation night with our grandson Jaylen. He
has had another great year academically and I want to be
with him on such an important evening.
We are also rejoicing that our eldest grandson Cheyne Grace
has been accepted at Time Square Church, New York for an
internship. He leaves late in January. What a thrill to be
in such a powerful praying church and serving a dynamic man
of God like David Wilkerson and his excellent team?
Recently we issued the following prayer points:
If
you pray for us, please consider the following...
1) A time of joy and blessing over the Christmas-New Year
period with our family. (Our first family Christmas in 5
years!)
2) The right time and place for the resumption of the
preaching/teaching ministry.
3) Good, reliable, quality news for our website -

4) We plan to paint and recarpet our house in February,
Pray we will hear clearly from the Lord whether to sell and
to relocate to a more suitable situation.
5) Pray Ron will hear from the Lord as he writes about our
first hand experiences with the Lord, Israel and the Jewish
people. This week he is onto Chapter 3 'The Western Wall -
1996)
6) Pray also for the medical maintenance program we have
begun - particularly for the dental costs not covered by
Medicare.
