We use a professional quality Bond Double Puller Carpet Binder. This is a top of the line machine that produces a strong, uniform stitch. We only use top quality polyester binding tape. The binding tape is pressure dyed, so the color will not bleed. Our standard binding is 7/8” wide. This leaves a subtle edge on your carpet. It’s purpose is not to stand out, but to create a nice finished look that doesn’t take away from the beauty of the carpet.

There was an older method of binding where the tape was glued and stapled to the carpet edge but that method is falling out of practice due to the labor involved. Plus, the binding machines give a much more professional look when finished.
