PASADENA, Calif. - Stately Wayne Manor is no longer. A Wednesday night fire gutted a Tudor style mansion that served as the home of Bruce Wayne, aka Batman, in the 1960's "Batman" television series, said Lisa Derderian, a spokeswoman for the Pasadena Fire Department. It was being remodeled by the owners, she said.

It was a nearby home (also sometimes used as a filming location) that burned: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20051007/ap_en_mo/mansion_fire

A Wednesday night blaze gutted the 21-room mansion and caused an estimated $15 million in damage...The fire department initially reported the mansion was used in the 1960's "Batman" TV series as the home of Bruce Wayne. But...officials were confused about the location and Wayne Manor, about two blocks away, was not damaged.
