Duane hasn't had much luck with the ladies lately. He's not bad-looking, he has a sense of humor, he has a steady job... Maybe it has something to do with his job.

Synopsis:

Detailing the personal life of a New York City funeral director as playfully and provocatively as its amusing title, Rolf Gibbs' short documentary is an inside look at an undertaker's survival of the most dismal of all careers, his problems dating women, and the preparations for his own demise. "The Last Guy" achieves a balance of humor and gravity that is as sensitive as its main character is extraordinary.
