• All Deposits are non-refundable and required to reserve a space in one of our classes. The deposit money is applied to the tuition balance. If a family withdraws from class before the semester starts, then the deposit amount remains on the account and can be applied to future classes.
  
• Parent Permission Form - Each year, we ask parents for permission to email announcements, take pictures/video, etc. Please return this form during the 1st week of class. Click here to download form.
• Inclement Weather Policy - Kathy's Music will follow the school schedule for inclement weather. If school is cancelled, then classes will be cancelled. We will primarily use email to keep our families notified of changes due to Inclement Weather. If classes are cancelled due to inclement weather, then we will add a makeup class to the schedule to insure a full semester.
• Returned Checks - If checks are returned due to insufficient funds, the customer will be charged a $25 processing fee.
• We Accept Credit Cards! - Parents, we accept Master Card, Visa, and Discover. Once processed, your statement will show a charge from "Simply Signup" for the registration amount. Click here to make a payment.
• Parking - There is FREE parking behind the building and on the street in Mt. Lebanon, McMurray, and Washington. Please do not park behind the building just to the west of our Mt. Lebanon space - thanks! The JCC offers garage parking below the building.
• Registration - We will take new additions to a class during the entire semester. Each new student will be charged based on number of classes remaining in the semester from the time of registration, plus materials fees.
• Makeup Class Policy - No refunds or discounts will be given for missed classes. Parents may schedule a makeup class during any week in the semester by emailing kathysmusic@verizon.net. The choice of makeup class times is based on available space in a class of the same age/curriculum.
• Non-Enrolled Siblings - Due to limited class sizes and the delicacy of the younger class settings, Village classes (0 to 1.5 yrs) and Our Time classes (1.5 to 3 yrs) can only accommodate non-enrolled siblings when the sibling is young enough to stay contented in a car carrier. GREAT NEWS!! If you are registered for Imagine That! or Young Child, your other children are welcome to join us at the end of class for Sharing Time. In addition, we are proud to offer "Family Time" class for families with multiple children.Please see our Class offerings for more information.

Did you know that the physical act of crawling activates brain development? Carla Hannaford, neurophysiologist and internationaly recognized edducational consultant, asserts that cross-lateral movements such as crawling activate both hemispheres of the brain in a balanced way. These types of activities "work both sides of the body evenly and involve coordinated movements of both eyes, both ears, both hands, and both feet as well as balanced core muscles." Activating both hemispheres can heighten cognitive functions and increase learning.
