preventing domestic
violence
Domestic violence is so awful for us, and it's all too easy
to feel overwhelmed and helpless.
Of course, Child Protection, restraining orders and police
intervention are always a last resort, but ...
what could we do to prevent or minimise this painful
problem?
In this one day workshop, we won't practice self defense,
but ways of defusing a potentially explosive situation
before it erupts into violence.
We will identify:
3
ways of
detecting early warning signs,
5
ways of
diverting potential outbursts,
4
ways of
taking care of our own reactions.
Join us as part of your ongoing mental health and
wellbeing.
