Our future, or rather our vision of the future, determines our present - far more than our past ever will.
If your vision for your business is the same as last year - plus 10%, then that will effect every decision you make today and tomorrow. On the other hand if your business vision is to double revenues in the next 12 months, then you will be making different decisions and taking different actions than the business-person with the first vision.
If both of the companies above are competitors, which business vision would you bet will win in the long-run?
Now look at your business. Be honest. Do you have a "plus 10% vision" or are you going to create a "increase revenues 50%" vision?
Both futures are possible. It's just a matter of choice. And as the leader of the company, it's your choice.
Stop looking back. Focus forward. That's where your future lies.
