Wine Ambassador for Beaulieu Vineyards

I have taken a position with Beaulieu Vineyards (BV) in Napa, California. As one of their Wine Ambassadors, I am working to spread the word in Oregon through story & tastings of their wines. Yum.

Begun in 1900, BV is based in Rutherford, CA a small town in the heart of Napa.
My fellow Ambassadors, Lisa & Judi spent a week in Rutherford learning about BV, tasting their wines, and becoming company spokespersons.
Our wine seminars consisted of a number of lectures, tastings & vineyard visits.
The weather was wonderful as this sun-filled view of the Ambassadors relaxed.
BV's André Tchelistcheff influenced BV's wines, even Mondavi learned from him.
Although this view may look somewhat antiseptic, the BV winery is particularly neat, clean and consistent in their wine making skills... just the way I like it.
Our winery tour guide and host at the Rutherford House (BV's historic educational center) was Jim Nicolette, who provided us excellent support during our stay.
The founder of Beaulieu, Georges de Latour, whose name graces the finest Cabernet Sauvignon, was responsible for BV, the oldest continually operating winery in Napa Valley.
I picked up this sample of a Pinot noir cutting in BV#5 vineyard in the Carneros
In 1963, BV wisely planted the southern area of the Napa Valley, the Carneros.
Jeffrey Stambor, winemaker for red Bordeaux varietals at BV is typical of the tradition, experience and innovation are the foundation of Beaulieu Vineyard.
This time of year (Winter), mustard grows naturally between these various trellis examples in a demonstration vineyard.
Not to forget the Williamette Valley wine production, this view of a Grape Escape Tour still makes for a wonderful day in the wine region in Oregon.
Many of the lectures and tastings were held at the Rutherford House, a wonderful resource for visitors at the BV winery. Built in 1916, it is wonderfully restored and furnished.
I hate to admit it, but after a week of drinking fine wines, sometimes you need a beer. :)
