DAY ONE: I traveled west through the Canadian Province of Ontario. Normally in years past, going through Canada would not be much of a problem. But the opposite happened: I was grilled at the Canadian boarder... with questions on my destination, purpose of visiting, passport, how much cash I was carrying, mother's maiden name, name of my first pet, and so on. Upon re-entering the USA in Michigan, I was asked where I was going (Milwaukee for the Harley 100th party) and was told to have a nice day

Day2: Harley's 100th |
| I knew the Harley 100th Anniversary Party would be Day 2's highlight... so I got a start about to ride south about 100 miles into Milwaukee from Green Bay. As you can see, I was joined by about 200,000 others. They do love their beer. |

A nice start to my day was a morning ride through the Black Hills, where I stopped at the Mt. Rushmore National Park. But much more impressive was the Crazy Horse Memorial... about 10 times the size of Rushmore... and a fitting tribute to the Native American Indians. Already 50 years into carving the mountain, the project is immense.
