Triad Freightliner, Assistant Parts Manager, Systems Administrator (11.1978 08.1986) Worked my way up through the Parts Department from odd jobs, delivery, warehouse, order desk, back counter, assistant parts manager. I was responible for inventory control and was instrumental in various business system implementations, going from CARS/Dayatron pad system to ADP "on-line" to ADP in-house, to ROADS in-house.
Christopher Truck Sales, Parts Manager (09.1986 08.1988) Managed all aspects of the Parts Department in a small dual-line dealership in Greenville SC. I was instrumental in the dealership upgrading their ROADS system to include the Service application to improve efficiency as well as enforce some business controls to control losses. Piloted Freightliner's PartsPro system.
Ultimate ROADS, Support Manager (09.1988 09.1991) Worked my way up from a support/install position to the manager of the entire support side of a large Truck Dealership software provider.
ADP Dealer Services, Client Operations Analyst (10.1991 03.1993) ADP purchased Ultimate ROADS in 1991. At that time I was utilized for both ADP and ROADS onsite client visits to assist in "client safisfaction" by helping them through the difficulties of their implementation. I also assisted in special projects such as their roll-out of the "Automated Parts Catalog" for GM dealers.
ATC Freightliner / Dallas Freightliner, Parts Manager, Systems, (04.1993 10.1997) Managed all aspects of the Parts Department in a large metropolitan area. Piloted Freightliner's ServicePro system, networking all dealership PCs and business system. Along with Gerald Chunn, Dan Raisovich, and Tu Dang, developed an inventory replenishment system that is now ETurns.
