2008 Corporate/Cycling Club Challenge for Prostate Cancer Prevention
This year's Black Tire Affair® for prostate cancer awareness has a new format. 3 person teams will compete in an Olympic Sprint and then each team member will ride a 500 meter individual time trial. Team standings will be determined by a combination of the total time for the Olympic Sprint (each team makes two rides) and the individual 500 time trial of each team member (each member rides on 500m time trial).

This year the challenge is open to individual, corporate and cycling club teams.

The age categories are as follows:

Olympic Sprint
3 Men
120 and less
121 - 147
148 - 150
151 - 179
180+

3 Women
90 and less
91 - 120
121 - 149
150+

Mixed
90 and less
91 - 120
121 - 150
150+

Individual 500 m TT
Men
40 and less
41 - 50
50 - 59
60+

Women
30 and less
31 - 50
50+

Team standing are based on combined team times. The age of team members must fit one of the above categories.

The Spoils!
There will be a lottery drawing for three (3) tickets to the VIP tent at the final stage of the 2009 Tour of California.

Individual medals for the top three finishers in each category.

Bragging rights and a lot of fun.
