Introduction To The Trager® Approach Workshops
The Trager® Approach, developed by Milton Trager, MD., combines bodywork and movement re-education. It is a process of communicating a quality of free, effortless movement through gently elongating, rocking, and supporting the body that facilitates deep relaxation, increased physical mobility, and promotes the body's optimal performance. The Trager Approach encourages the development of human sensitivity and functional body awareness and has applications in all activities where effective body use is important. | |

Questions about the Class Content and what to bringIf you have questions about the class content not answered in the promotional material or below please email me at robertclark@mac.com. Ask the school campus continuing education coordinator about registration details, directions and lodging. To the participant's question - As to dress - comfortable, something in which you can move freely, something that is natural material like cotton, and something that isn't too silkie-smooth or too skin-tight so that you can receive bodywork clothed and still have body parts grippable and be able to receive comfortable movement. Some of what we will do is floor-movement sensory awareness exercises; and some, will be playing with movement with partners on massage tables. We will be standing, sitting on the floor and chairs, and lying on massage tables (dressed). Sports or dance warm-up clothing or sweats (pants and shirts) work. The bottomline is comfortable and non-binding and that makes you feel good. You should bring a set of sheets and pillowcase for the table. And if you like a bolster or light blanket, bring these as well. You can bring lunch or restaurants are nearby and we will break one and 1/4 hours for lunch. The class will begin and end on time. For those wanting CE credit, attendance is required for the whole day with a sign-in and sign-out.
