Robert Pawloski works in the Los Angeles area as a professional screenwriter, rewriting and polishing feature screenplays. In his role as a freelance story and script editor, he reads, evaluates and edits screenplay material for development. In 13 years of work, Robert has covered well over 2000 screenplays for various film production and distribution companies, including New Regency, Polygram Films and Pacifica International. He has written several spec screenplays along with his professional assignments, several of have been optioned and/or are in development with production companies.<br /><br />Robert has been involved in the film and television industry since graduating from the University of Maryland with a Visual Arts Degree in 1992. He has worked technically and creatively in the entertainment, commercial and documentary venues, including nearly a decade as a professional cameraman. While transitioning from camera, Robert worked as a writer on documentary and educational scripts for various clients in Washington, DC. Upon relocating from the East 1996, he joined Polygram Entertainment’s film and television division as a story analyst.

Robert was hired as a story consultant on this visually stunning short film by New York writer/director/composer Michael Nova and his Hypnotical Entertainment company.

Barbara Wood: Wilder Oleander (Karibisches Geheimnis) (2009), March, 2009.

Robert was hired to revise the German-language production of the television movie Barbara Wood: Wilder Oleander (Karibisches Geheimnis), from the novel Private Entrance by Barbara Wood, which wrapped production in Puerto Rico in December. The movie aired March 15th, 2009, on the German television network ZDF to critical raves. The draft script was translated from German to English for Robert to revise; the finished draft was translated back to German for production. Rob's screen credit for the project is "script editor". The executive producer on the project is Heidi Ulmke, the producer is Vanessa Lackschewitz, both for FFP New Media GmbH, Munich, Germany. (links to IMDB.com)
