Richard E. Brooks has had several one-man shows in New York City at such well known galleries as Ricco Maresca, Montessat and the Westside Gallery. In addition to being a painter, Mr. Brooks continues to work actively in the performing arts as a professional cinematographer. Films like The Great Gatsby with Robert Redford, Natural Enemies with Hal Holbrook and the landmark concert film The Concert for Bangladesh featuring ex-Beatle George Harrison, as well as several independent features, are among his numerous screen credits. He has produced and directed several short films of his own, including Unfinished Painting, and has written several screenplays. Mr. Brooks has written a one-act play called The Snow Train as well as a full-length play called Movie Crazies, a comedy about a down-and-out producer making a low-budget film with an incompetent crew.

Mr. Brooks currently lives and works in New York City. Outside of these accomplishments... he hasn't done a damn thing.
