It
is not the practice of the Arcadia Invitational to announce specific
names of athletes seeking participation into the meet well in advance
of the competition. As injuries, changes in plans and such can play
a role, we feel it safe and more credible to not release names until
the seeding is announced, usually 10 days before the meet.
Depending
on circumstances, we will occasionally release names earlier. Although
we will not release specific names, we will publicize the strength
of the field in each event several weeks to a couple of months beforehand,
so that competing athletes and coaches have an idea of the caliber
of competition on tap come meet weekend.
