Bearboat Classic was originally called simply Bearboat but when the more advanced program, Bearboat Pro,
came into being then the original Bearboat was called Bearboat Classic. It is a legacy program that is only
useful for people with VERY old hardware or people who wish to play with old Bearboat Classic files.
Bearboat Pro is the replacement to Bearboat Classic and is soon to be superseded by Bearboat SP.
Bearboat Pro can be used to open Bearboat Classic files and they can be converted to Bearboat Pro files.
BearboatSP is the most advanced version of Bearboat. This is the version that I recommend new users start
with although it is still in beta and the manuals for this version are not complete. It is capable of opening
and converting Bearboat Pro files.
This site has charts of considerable detail of select parts of the coast of British Columbia and Washington State.
These can be useful to kayakers and, in some instances, hikers.
