The Sounds of Our Lives -Part 2 



I found trying to explain Aidan's funny phrases and sound effects in my last entry lacking in an untouchable essence that makes them distinctly Aidan.

So, I had the bright idea of recording today's lunch conversation on my computer. I've edited it down to several cute sound bites, many of which were the direct result of prompting; however, the best musical highlight, which is the last one here, was completely spontaneous and exactly what I was trying to explain yesterday.

Here are some of our funny phrases and musical highlights:


 
• Ah Haaa!

 
• A little nickname we've given him

 
• Hurray! This one was also spontaneous, but I don't remember what he was celebrating.

 
• A tribute to Buzz Lightyear complete with noodles flying out of his mouth. It's just like me to ask him a question as the spoon goes in.

 
• Yippi Skippy, Elmo!

 
• Yupparoni (Karin taught Aidan this as an alternative to saying, "Yes!")

 
• This is Aidan's normal reaction to discovery. I love it! (BTW, we were eating alphabet soup.)
