Deification
Ronnie's dead, long live the Gipper. If you've not
taken a look at the Bush reelection
site lately, you might want to take a peek at the necrophilia
going on over there.
Prior to the death of Ronald Reagan, a mediocre president at best who presided over the Disneyification of America in which image was more important than substance, the Bush site basically was a place to go to bash John Kerry, the presumptive Democratic nominee and our next president. Well, since the Gip passed, it's become a place to resume the deification of Ronald Reagan.
See, Bush can't run on his record, so he ran on the fact that he wasn't Kerry. Now, he's trying to run as Ronald Reagan. Which, of course, inspired the following.
Sounds like the only team Bush can win with.
