Laser Cheese


Researchers at the University of Wisconsin-Madison are using lasers to sculpt cheese.

Scientists at the University of Wisconsin-Madison have used a high-power laser to sculpt shapes from -- what else -- cheese.

To date, the team has focused on making high quality intricate cuts in 2.5 mm thick mild cheddar.
