Welcome to the Home Page of

Bob and Char-Lou Dinger

Bob, Keith, Eric, and Geoff - Summer 1990

Chico, California

Our home page has two main purposes: (1) to post pictures of Maia, Andrew, Daniel and Grant, our four grandchildren, so that others can enjoy their antics and progress, and (2) to post the genealogical results that Char-Lou has uncovered on our two sides of the family. From time to time, we also plan to include pictures of our outings and activities.

John Muir Trail

One of Bob's goals for retirement was to hike the entire John Muir Trail.  Over the years he had enjoyed many trips in the Sierras, but he never had the time to do the 220 mile trip.  In July/August 2001 Bob and his frientd Frank made the trip in 20 days.
