Drat.Have you ever turned down your dream job? I just
did.
I'll have plenty of other opportunities for my
"dream job(s)" throughout my life, but being called, told that one of them was
mine if I wanted it and then having to turn it down is very
upsetting.
The reason that I had to turn it down was because I want to graduate from Emory in the spring. I would have to take the spring semester off from school if I wanted to work in this position for which it's taken me 18 months to be given the green light. Oh well. All that I can hope is that I will have the position and ability to decline many, many more job offers in the many years that have yet to pass. Posted: Tue - December 6, 2005 at 07:05 PM |
