Rip is : Tomonori Tanaka/1974.05.21 A self-taught Japanese photographer, Working for magazines, company advertizement and so on. Taking picture of life shoot and highlight of skaters, painters, musicians, snowboarders, some other artists. Actions, people, nature. Like traveling. U.S.A, Alaska, Madagascar, Senegal, Asia and all over in Japan. Summer, Winter, mountain, Beach. Not in the water yet. Ripzinger tour is : When I was cordinating and attending a Fourstar clothing tour called "SUPER CHAMPIOM FUN ZONE". Given a skateboard called "ZipZinger/Krooked" by one friend Gabe. ZipZinger made a reason to ride skateboard again. It brought me exciting life in Tokyo. "ZipZinging" became a reason to go out and moving around city. Curving, Ollies, rail slide. This board is made by the god of skateboarding Mark Gonzales & Original legendary skater Tommy Guerrero. This board taught me a lot about skateboarding I did not know because of shape and feeling when I am riding. Set up with soft wheel and go out to city. I could look at city on totaly different perspective. I went many type of terrain in Tokyo city, and went to Kamakura area to hit some of slopes. And then I could have different feeling in those histrical enviroment. I got intersted in country where ZipZinger (Skateboarding) born. A friend Mike Carroll tought me a traveling technicque called " Cauch surfin ". So Jump into states with ZipZinger and cameras. I started to search for meaning in ZipZinging (Skateboarding). |
