World Collection at Texas A&M University-Kingsville
Perry Aaron Glick amassed a significant collection of Lepidopterans (Butterflies and Moths) during his lifetime. In 1977, Perry Glick placed his collection with Texas A&I University (present day Texas A&M University-Kingsville) Biology Department under the care of Professor James E. Gillaspy and the John E. Conner Museum. The collection consists of 346 Riker mounts (sealed glass cases) of nearly 8000 specimens, and is housed in Kleberg Hall on the Texas A&M-Kingsville campus. It is one of the largest comprehensive private collections of butterflies and moths in the world. The entire collection, including the information on the reverse of each mount, is presented here.
