Andrea MacIntyre is the second of nine daughters and one son in a Scottish merchant family. Her mother, being of French descent and fine learning, had sent her abroad to lodge with her merchant uncle's family in England. Andrea is used to being responsible, helping where needed, and to occasionally break out and try something new and bold, often landing her in humorous situations.
In the SCA, She was apprenticed to Master Henry MacQueen and protegéed to Baron Master Ian Mitchell, Viceroy of the Crown Province of Østgarðr. She is also still the Chancellor of the East Kingdom University. Her dual peerage elevation, to the orders of the Pelican and of the Laurel, occurred at Pennsic XXXIV, and was the first of its kind in The East Kingdom.
In re-enactment scenarios, Andrea is a cook for a lesser nobleman, scrimping and saving as much as possible to provide the best of quality meals, with the best of possible artistic influences. She can easily be found at just about any event she attends if you check the kitchen.

Denise Wolff (email) is a barely post-baby boomer bibliophile, whose employment as a nurse helps pay the bills. She is long married to her best friend Rick (Reijnier VerPlanck). Denise would be very happy to drop her "career" at any time should a millionaire come up and offer her a lifetime college scholarship. Her interests lie in art, history, education, writing, and food as art.
