I am a certified professional coach and leadership consultant for emerging leaders, executives, and business groups who are looking to unlock their full potential and enjoy their success. My own desires to lead -- and passion for developing quality leaders -- are what motivate me to assist others. I enjoy working as a partner with those who want to take their business, career, and personal success to the next level. The coaching partnerships I form are either one-on-one or with groups (where the “system” of the relationship becomes the focus).
I bring a unique background to my professional coaching/consulting business.
My experience includes 27 years working in the US as one of the nation’s few female senior federal executives; a vice president for a non-profit organization; and as a line manager, supervisor, and technical specialist in several federal land management positions and agencies. I have had extensive success working with interdisciplinary teams and I understand how leadership and communication can positively impact the organization and the executive.
Driven by my leadership interests, I founded my business, The Sage Project, LLC in June, 2002. I blend the fine art of active listening (and insight from working with others through tough challenges) into my boundless curiosity and imagination to form the foundation for building leaders.

I hold a MS in Outdoor Recreation Behavior; I am a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC); I am certified in the federal government’s Senior Executive Service (SES); I am a graduate of The Coaches Training Institute (CTI), and; I am a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF).

On the personal side, I draw tremendous strength from being out-of-doors. I love to fly-fish, hike, bike, river-raft, and capture the moment through photography. When kept in-doors, I enjoy music or getting lost in a good novel. I make instant friends with animals and, no matter where I am, I get asked directions from strangers.
