About the Car
The base car is a 1972 Spitfire MKIV. It has been ligtened and stiffened as well as having all the safety fitments required for racing added.

Engine: 1500cc Triumph 4 Cylinder Engine (Supplied by Jigsaw)
Carbs: 2 x 1.5" SU Carburettors with K&N Air Filters and extra ducting.
Exhaust: Triumph Tune 4:2:1 manifold with twin silencers
Suspension: AVO shocks, poly bushed, stiffened and cambered.
Body: Fibreglass Bonnet, hardtop & boot lid. Other panels as original.
Wheels: Compomotive competition minilite replicas (5.5x13)
Tyres: Yokohama AO32Rs
Top Speed: Not known. Laps Brands at an average of 72.05mph
Power: Approx. 112bhp on the rollers at Pete Baldwins.
