MT. SHASTA TRIP

Just a few photos from our epic Mt. Shasta climb and snowboard descent. 5.13.06 I can't think of a better way to turn 40!

Calm before the Storn Rich is giddy with anticipation. A mountian awaits. All roads point upward. Heading out to base camp Preparing for the big climb. Triple-checking our gear. Storn on a warm-up run Impossible to grasp the scale. Hint– those aren't ants Gazing at hidden glacier atop the west face. Trinity Alps beyond. The requisite victory pose. Took everything I had just to lift my arms. Basking in the glory. We begin our long descent. Our quads are burning, but the snow is fantastic!
