GNOME packages in MacPorts
I use the MacPorts port system to maintain my GNOME installation. The following tables document the status of the GNOME Platform, Desktop, and Bindings package suites in MacPorts for GNOME version 2.20.1 :

Notes
- Status:
- Broken
- The port is not built on my Macintosh Powerbook for one reason or another. Usually this is explained in the notes, but sometimes I am lazy.
- Current
- The port version is the same as, or more recent than, the package version when the most recent "stable" GNOME version was released.
- Not ported
- The package can not be found using the command "port search packagename" on my computer.
- Outdated
- The port is older than the package at the time of the most recent GNOME release.
- It is not likely that the GNOME Java bindings will be ported unless GTK is ported to Aqua.
- These tables are generated using a simple script that I ginned up late one night, so the methods used to make determinations about the status of a port are a little simplistic.
