| Manager 1996 - 2002 |
While performing my tasks as CTO for the Inovax Group, I also had the good fortune of managing the Western Australian Apple distributor.
My previous 6 years of retail experience with the Coles Myer group has proven invaluable during my time with the company. I have been able to impart knowledge to my group of resellers, and also been involved in setting up several stores and demo days.
I joined the company as the sales manager 1996, but moved to the position of Manager in 1998.
I have been instrumental in year on year growth of over 10% during my time as manager, and also funded trips to the Apple worldwide developers conference in 1998 and 2000.
I also developed several database systems for customers including the Youth Department of the WA police.
Currently working on great new ways to use Unix and WebObjects to offer clients new ways of doing business - including a web->MYOB link.

| J2EE - Webobjects Consultant
|
| 2000 - Present |
Have developed several J2EE class projects using Java WebObjects development environment and application server. This best of breed development environment has enabled me to develop online applications efficiently and within budget. Public example of work is currently online at http://interactive.artsource.net.au. This project allows artists and users to login and survey their own work and save favourite searches. Casual users are able to search for artworks, group them together and send a request for more information. |
