Minutes of previous meeting approved as mailed.
John Schnert, Mid American Energy, presented Natural Gas Franchise
renewal.
Motion by Haack second by Lyons to set date for Public Hearing on gas
franchise for
October 4,2006 at 7:00 PM .
Motion carried.
Motion by Lyons second by Haack to approve 2nd reading Ordinance 2006-5.
An Ordinance Adding Section 3-5-36 To The Whiting Municipal Code And
Prohibiting Parking
On The East Side Of Shannon Drive From The North Line Of Lot Nine (9)
To The South Line Of
Lot Ten (10), Whitier Addition, City Of Whiting, Monona County, Iowa.
Roll call, All in favor.
Resolution 2006-2 . Resolution Approving 2005-2006 Road Use Tax Report.
Motion by Jones second by Mattingly to accept Resolution 2006-2
Roll call vote, all in favor.
Motion by Mattingly second by Jones to approve final payment to L.A.
Carlson Contracting
for Sports Complex.
Motion carried.
Motion by Haack second by Bock to purchase materials and benches for
ball diamond with
remaining funds available. 3 ayes, 2 ayes, Motion carried.
Clerk to publish notice in the paper on nuisance abatements.
Motion by Mattingly second by Bock to allow bills. Carried
