June Delashment, Monona County Disaster, spoke to Council on disaster readiness.
Ordinance 2006-1. An Ordinance Amending 6-5-11 Of The Whiting Municipal Code And Setting
Fees For Garbage Collection Service.
Motion by Haack second by Jones to accept Ordinance 2006-1.
Roll call vote, all in favor.
Motion by Jones second by Bock to waive 2nd and 3rd reading Ordinance 2006-1.

Ordinance 2006-2. An Ordinance Amending 6-4-14 Of The Whiting Municipal Code And
Setting Water Rates.
Motion by Lyons second by Mattingly to accept Ordinance 2006-2.

Motion by Haack second by Lyons to waive 2nd and 3rd reading Ordinance 2006-2

Housing development was discussed, Council tabled until June meeting.
Dennis O'Neal, Youth Association, discuss summer ball program, voiced concern on where
we stand on Sports Complex and possible time table for schedule for home ball games.
Skip to talk to S&H drilling on extending water from Ardin Larsons to ball complex for
watering grass.
Skip to order material to be put on gravel roads.
Skip to get prices on fixing city road grader.
Ardin Larson and Charles Pike to be notified that the City will no longer mow
parking adjacent to their property.
Skip to have lagoon area sprayed for noxious weeds
Motion by Lyons second by Bock to allow bills. Carried
